Good afternoon CVCS families,
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment. We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to have difficult dialogue and conversations of care today during our Motivational Moments Ted Talks Series, with today's guest Attorney S. Lee Merritt, Co-Council for both George Floyd and Ahmaud Aubrey. In addition, our town-hall to follow helped us to galvanize our voice on this path of healing. We appreciate your participation immensely. As you explore school options for next year, please read below as it relates to a deadline today.
A message from CPS
It is extremely important that you identify a school option for the upcoming school year by June 30th!
As a reminder, the GoCPS Elementary School (ES) Round 2 application process closes today, June 5th at 11:59 pm. This process is for families who were unable to submit an ES application in Round I or still need to identify a school for the 20-21 school year. To apply, visit go.cps.edu!
The second round consists only of schools/programs that still have seats available in grades K-7. If you have not already opened a GoCPS account, you must have your student's School ID number on hand. If you do not know your student's CPS ID number, please contact us or email@example.com ASAP.
If you have any questions, please visit go.cps.edu for additional details regarding the GoCPS ES Round 2 Application Process. Questions should be directed to the Office of Access and Enrollment via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 773-553-2060.
CVCS will continue to serve and support you during these times. Please expect care calls to you from CVCS staff members over the next two weeks. We appreciate your strength. We appreciate your courage. Thank you for your resilience.
